Whirlwind For Waldrons (Continued from Page 1) job-school-family juggling act was rewarded when she was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education. With her master's degree and New Jersey teaching certification (she was previously certified only in Massachusetts, where she taught before her marriage) firmly in hand, Mrs Waldron hopes to find a teaching position for the other two days a week. Meg probably won't have to take a job while at the University of Virginia, but she will have to put in long hours running to keep up her scholarship. She treats the sport with the same seriousness that most people reserve for their job. "Running got me to college, and running's going to keep me there," she said.

Meg said she is considering majoring in psychology at college, but is also interested in such diverse fields as art, sports medicine and writing. She has entered her paintings in a few local art shows (and gave one to Mary as a graduation present), and has written several short stories and poems, a few of which have appeared in the high school literary magazine. After Meg, there are three more Waldrons to get through college. Michael is a junior at Bernards High School, John is a freshman on an academic scholarship to Delbarton, and Caroline is a seventh grader at St. Elizabeth's School.

Nobody is exactly sure how the college educations for the three youngest Waldrons will be paid for, but nobody seems especially worried. The family has learned to cope with difficult circumstances and has gained confidence from its success. Somewhere, Tom Waldron is probably smiling.
